Zac Efron's New Girlfriend Is Actually One Of His Old Flames
They dated back in 2014!
If you've been keeping track of Efron's love life, you probably already know about his recent split from Danish Olympic swimmer Sarah Bro. Their relationship lasted less than a year and he's already moved on to someone else. But here's the tea - she's actually one of his old flames! Sorry, High School Musical Fans. It's not Vanessa Hudgens. So who is Halston Sage?
It turns out, the two go way back (we're talking six years). Here's everything you need to know about them and their new relationship.
Sage was born and raised in Los Angeles, Californa. You might recognize her from her role as Grace on the Nickelodeon show How to Rock or Lt. Alara Kitan on the hit Fox TV series, The Orville.
The two met while filming the movie Neighbors, and it wasn't long before dating rumors started. When two people are this gorgeous, some fans believed they couldn't be 'just friends.'
Photos of them getting cute and cozy courtside at a basketball game ignited the rumors.
A source close to the couple told E! they were "definitely an item."
They went on to say that "They were seeing each other a bit during [the] filming of their movie together and ever since he went to rehab, they got a lot closer. Her friends love him and say he is so sweet. He's really good to her."
Despite their obvious chemistry and the dating reveal, the two seemed to play coy about whether or not they were together.
"She's really sweet. She's a sweetheart," the 32-year-old Disney star gushed to Access Hollywood.
Halston wasn't quite as shy about it though, admitting how "fun" their on-screen Neighbors kiss was. They also locked lips while filming the series Townies.
Just a couple of years ago, Efron broke the hearts of single ladies everywhere when he said: "dating was something he'd never be able to do" and laughed off his bad Tinder experiences.
We don't know about you, but we're glad to see he's looking for love again. We're keeping our fingers crossed for the happy couple to make an adorable "it's official" announcement.
