It's honestly exhilirating to spot (and sometimes meet) a celebrity out on the town. You'd only have a chance to do so in California, but celebs are all over the place now. Georgia is the Hollywood of the South and tons of celebs (natives and transplants) have homes in Atlanta or visit often. That said, these places to spot celebs in Atlanta stretch beyond just Buckhead.
This progressive, ever-growing Millennial hub in the middle of Atlanta (obvi) is full of night life, entertainment, eats and just plain fun. Celebs are known to frequent places here like South City Kitchen and Cypress Street Pint and Plate.
Yes, we know that this is SUPER close to Buckhead, but the specific area has tons of secret hidden back roads where celebs are rumored to have homes. It's also where Lenox Square is (which you've probably heard several rappers reference in their songs). An inside source says Cardi B. visits the Target by Lenox frequently.
In case you are unaware, this is where the Atlanta airport is. With all the productions constantly underway, you're bound to spot tons of celebs in and around the airport. Ozark, Stranger Things and The Tomorrow War film here, so yes, Millie Bobby Brown and Chris Pratt are here often.
With PCM and the Virginia Highland bars, this place is literally always poppin'. Most noteworthy is the Clermont lounge. This ATL icon is a fave spot for Ludacris (according to my Uber driver) and basically any celeb who comes to visit.
A little mini Italy is nestled in ATL in Home Park, with renowned Italian eateries like Antico Pizza, Bar Amalfi (where Tiny Harris visited recently) and much more. You may spot celebs like Drew Barrymore, Chris Rock, Paul Rudd, Will Ferrell and Gabrielle Union.
Edgewood - Bonelick BBQ
This town is as edgy as it sounds. The long strip of super fun bars, clubs and restaurants are always lively and celebs love it as much as we do. Bonelick BBQ (with a hidden speakeasy) is a popular spot for stars; you may spot Jack Black, Jon Hamm, Zach Galifianakis, Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis. (Even if you don't spot anyone, you won't regret eating here.)
