Even if life has stolen us away from the places we once grew up in, the nostalgia keeps us coming back. On Thursday, Mom actress snapped a picture of herself on a picturesque Oregon beach for the 'gram. And honestly, it's every person from the Pacific Northwest, ever. Anna Faris' Washington roots remind us that she's actually from the spectacular Cascades region.
The blue-sky shot saw the 43-year-old going back to the basics and flying a kite on the shores. She even excitedly captioned it, "I flew a kite!" bringing us to believe that it was probably her first time.
While she didn't tag the location of this spot, eagle-eyed fans quickly deciphered it.
While one Instagrammer simply said, "Oregon!," others went on to stalk out her background. — The rocky formations you see in the pic are in fact, Haystack Rock on Cannon Beach.
It's only 3.5-hours from Seattle, making it a popular road trip with Puget Sounders.
She dressed up in a black puffer jacket and boots, that's essentially a favorite uniform of the region.
While most Instagrammers wished they were on the coveted coast during her visit, others reminded her of local things to do there.
"Canon Beach! Hope you got some Mo’s food before hitting the road 🥰," one person said referring to a popular joint, Mo's Seafood & Chowder.
But, Faris probably knew that already.
It was here that she honed her acting skills — at the Village Theatre in Issaquah and Seattle Repertory Company.
She even studied literature at the University of Washington where her parents were teachers. — Her dad was a professor and one of the heads of the department while her mom taught special education.
She still supports the Seahawks, you guys!
So, the next time you're on Cannon Beach, snap as many pictures as you can because it's now a celeb favorite. Or is it that, celebrities are just like us too?
