Here’s What The Cast Of ‘Glee’ Looks Like In 2019
It's been 10 years since the show premiered!
When Glee premiered back in 2009, basically every awkward teenager (or former awkward teenager) felt as though they finally had something to relate to. The series lasted a total of six seasons and introduced a ton of diverse talent to the world. The show recently celebrated its 10th anniversary, so let's find out - where is the cast of Glee now?
Some of the stars have gone on to perform on Broadway, while others have chosen to step out of the limelight to pursue family life, but they've all still got one thing in common - the love of all the former Gleek's.
Matthew Morrison // Will Schuester
Since Glee came to an end, Matthew Morrison has been keeping busy with his wife, Renee Puente, and son. From 2015 - 2016 he starred as the lead role of J.M. Barrie in Finding Neverland on Broadway. He's also made an appearance on BBC One's The Greatest Dancer.
Lea Michele // Rachel Berry
So many people fell in love with Lea Michele when she stepped into the role of Rachel Berry. She got married this year to Zandy Reich, and has been keeping busy with shows like Scream Queens and The Mayor.
Jane Lynch // Sue Sylvester
Jane Lynch may have played the evil Sue Sylvester on Glee, but in real life, she's anything but. Since the show ended she's continued to sing and perform, and even had a short stint as Miss Hannigan in Annie. She's also appeared on The Price is Right and Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
Kevin McHale // Artie Abrams
Artie Abrams was easily one of the most lovable characters on Glee, and Kevin McHale was the best pick for the role. He's been working on plenty of radio gigs and is currently a host of Sick of My Own Voice on Dash Radio. He came out as gay in April of 2018 and is currently dating Austin McKenzie.
Jenna Ushkowitz // Tina Cohen-Chang
Tina Cohen-Chang was known for always changing up her looks on Glee, and she's no different IRL. She's appeared in several Broadway productions over the years and co-founded the podcast network At Will Radio where she hosts the show Infinite Positivies.
Chris Colfer // Kurt Hummel
Kurt was definitely a Glee fan favourite, and the talent Chris Colfer possess is undeniable. Since 2015, he's acted in Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie, appeared as a guest judge on Chopped Junior, and has developed a TV show called Indigo about misdiagnosed children who actually possess supernatural abilities.
Amber Riley // Mercedes Jones
If there's one thing we learned from Glee, it's that Amber Riley can SING. She took on the lead role of Effie White in Dreamgirls and was awarded the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actress in a musical. She won season 17 of Dancing with the Stars and has continued to put out new music.
Harry Shum Jr. // Mike Chang
We didn't hear much from Harry on Glee, but we sure did get a dose of his awesome dance moves. When the show came to an end, Harry took on the role of Magnus Bane on Shadowhunters for which he won an E! People's Choice Award.
Heather Morris // Brittany Pierce
Although Morris only appeared in six episodes of Glee's final season, people love her nonetheless. In 2015, she married Taylor Hubbell and is now a mother of two. She starred in season 24 of Dancing with the Stars, and although she didn't win, she made it to the sixth week of competition.
Dianna Agron // Quinn Fabray
Of all characters on the show, Quinn Fabray may have just shown the most character development. You may have hated her at the beginning, but by the end of the show so many of us came around. In 2016 she married Winston Marshall of Mumford & Sons and has appeared in films like Bare and Novitiate.
Naya Rivera // Santana Lopez
Of all the Glee stars, Naya Riveria is arguably one of the most relevant. She was engaged to rapper Big Sean, although they broke it off shortly after. She married Ryan Dorsey in 2014 and the couple split in 2018. She has one child and has appeared in Devious Maids.
