Apparently, if a woman puts her hand on her stomach people automatically think she's pregnant. The Hailey Bieber pregnant rumours are just that, rumours. The model had the best response to the speculation after the rumours started flying around the internet.
Who knows why people are so obsessed with celebrity pregnancies and speculating about whether or not they are expecting a baby.
At least Hailey was able to find some humour in all of the talk about her and Justin possibly having a baby on the way.
The newest bout of speculation started because she and Justin were spotted out in Miami earlier in the week and she was photographed with her hand on her stomach.
On November 29, the model responded to the rumours by posting an Instagram story.
"The internet is funny," she wrote. "No, I'm not pregnant I just really love food."
That's totally valid.
This isn't the first time that pregnancy rumours have surrounded Hailey but before it was because Justin started them himself.
It was actually just an April Fools joke.
For Hailey's birthday on November 22, Justin Bieber captioned an Instagram post with some pretty intimate details that probably should've been kept private.
"Happy birthday babes! You make me want to be better everyday! The way you live you life is so attractive.. ps you turn me on in every way 😍😍😍😍 next season BABIES," he wrote.
So they definitely are planning on having a baby but a simple hand on the stomach doesn't necessarily mean that Hailey is pregnant.
Hailey isn't the only celebrity to face pregnancy rumours recently.
On November 18, photos surfaced of Halsey and her boyfriend Evan Peters touching her stomach which immediately led to pregnancy rumours.
But the singer hilariously shut them down the next day.
Still not pregnant. Still just allergic to gluten. Still love pancakes.— h (@h)1574133526.0
In a more serious tweet, she went on to say that, "pregnancy is a super sensitive subject. Some celebrities are open about having any struggles with reproductive health. Some are not. either way it seems really inappropriate to target someone and speculate about something so precious and personal."
Regardless of whether someone is open about it or not, it's probably best not to assume anybody is pregnant.
