Friday night has finally come around, and Haligonians are counting down the minutes until work ends and the festivities can begin.  Have your bags packed and your coat on so that you’re ready to dash right when the clock strikes five, because many of these happy hour deals will have started already!

We put together a list of all the best Friday night happy hour deals that you have to take advantage of in Halifax this weekend.  Many of the bars below you’ll definitely have heard of, but did you know how awesome their drink specials were?!

Niche Lounge // 1505 Barrington Street

Not only do they have a beautiful patio to drink on in the summer, but Niche also always offers the best in happy hour pricing. On Friday’s from 4pm to close well shots are $3.50, as are 18oz draughts. House wine is $4 for a 1oz glass, and 2oz cocktails are only $7. Be sure to soak up all that liquor with some of their half price appetisers as well, available from 4pm to close.

Reflections Cabaret // 5187 Salter Street

On select Feel Good Friday Nights at Reflections the cost of cover is reduced to only $7, with well shots being $2.50 and draft beer going for only $3.75 until 2am officially making this the cheapest to catch a weekend buzz in the HRM.

Fickle Frog // 5675 Spring Garden Road

Friday nights from 4pm to 7pm well shots at Fickle are only $3, while pints of Sleeman are going for $4 and a 5oz glass of house wine for is $3.50.

Your Father’s Moustache // 5686 Spring Garden Road

Happy hour at Your Father’s Moustache takes place from 4:30pm to 8pm on Fridays, during which well shots cost $3.50 to $6.25 depending on what kind of liquor you order. Local and domestic bottled beer also goes for $3.50 to $6.25 during that time, depending on the brand. The Moustache has one of Halifax’s nicest patios, so be sure to check it out this summer!

Rockbottom Brewpub // 5686 Spring Garden Road

This awesome Halifax microbrewery knocks $1 off all their craft beers prices from 4:30pm to 7pm on Friday nights, and during happy hour their highballs only cost $3.50.

Tom’s Little Havana // 1540 Birmingham Street

From 5pm to 8pm on Friday nights Tom’s is offering draughts of Keith’s and 5oz glasses of house wine for the price of only $4.50, in addition to have a great deal on $4 well shots and $4 domestic bottles of beer.

Durty Nelly’s // 1645 Argyle St

Hit up Durty Nelly’s tonight between 4pm and 6pm for a bunch of awesome happy hour specials that include $6 Irish pints and ciders, $5 20oz Coors Light, $5 5oz glasses of house wine, $4 well shots, $4 domestic bottled beers and 25% of all appetizers for when you get hungry.

Economy Shoe Shop // 1663 Argyle Street

Another Halifax spot with an awesome patio, during happy hour from 4pm to 6pm on Friday’s pints of Budweiser and well shots cost only $4, while 5oz glasses of house wine are going for $5.

Bitter End // 1572 Argyle St

Friday nights are a pretty big deal at the Bitter End during their happy hour from 4pm to 8pm there are a ton of deals you have to take advantage of. Martinis are $5.65, imported bottles of beer are $3.50 and local bottled beer is only $3.25. Cocktails during happy hour at The Bitter End go for $3.25, while all food is just $6.

The Argyle // 1575 Argyle Street

Happy hour at the Argyle takes place from 4pm to 7pm from Monday to Friday, and during that time visitors can grab well shots, 18pz pints of Keith’s, Budweiser and Oland for just $3.25. Coronas, 5oz glasses of house wine and 18oz draughts of Stella Artois also go for $4.35 during this time. Their rooftop patio is also one of the coolest spots in the city come summertime!
