11 Waterfront Cottages You Can Rent For Super Cheap On P.E.I.

As exams come to a close and the weather starts to get warm, it’s impossible not to start fantasizing about summer plans.  Maritimers can’t wait get active and start exploring now that all the snow has melted and the days are getting longer.  Try something new this year, and take a road trip out to Prince Edward Island with your crew for a chance to see a whole new side of our country that lies only a four-hour drive away!

Prince Edward Island is home to some of Atlantic Canada's most incredible beaches and beautiful ocean views, which is why we thought it would be the perfect spot for you and a group of friends to visit!  Recently named one of the top travel destinations in the world by the CBC, summer is the perfect time for you to stopover on P.E.I. and explore all the National Parks and historic landmarks that cover this stunning province.

We’ve put together a list of waterfront cottages from all over The Island that would be the perfect home base for your next awesome east coast adventure.  Get a group of friends together and split the cost of these luxurious cottages at some point over the summer.  We've calculated the prices included below by dividing up the total nightly cost of each cottage amongst the number of people advertised as being accommodated by the beds in each residence, so as to give you an idea of just how affordable this vacation can be.

Host a big seafood cookout on the beach, or explore nearby hiking routes on The Confederation Trail.  Bike through quiet fishing villages or kayak along red sandy shores.  If you’ve never been to P.E.I. before, then this summer could be the perfect time to explore one of Canada’s most unique provinces!
