With themed nights, student deals, and thing’s going on every day of the week, we’ve rounded up a selection of joints to help you get the most out of your night out.

Monday: Cheers // 1741 Grafton St.

Monday nights at Cheers are karaoke night, so if you’re looking for a place to let loose and belt out your favourite tunes with your friends that’s not too busy on the first day of the week, this is an excellent choice for you. Or, if you’re a student, get someone to sign you into the King’s Wardroom, where Monday nights are usually buzzing with live bands, amazing DJ’s and themed nights.

Tuesday: The Foggy Goggle // 1667 Argyle St.

Tuesdays are usually more of a lowkey night, but if you’re still looking to get a bit of a buzz on, The Foggy Goggle is a beloved joint that serves a great selection of beer on tap ($2 off Rickard’s Red on tap on Tuesdays!), delicious pub food and a great ambiance.

Wednesday: Alehouse // 1717 Brunswick St.

If you’re a wing lover, this is the spot for you. Wednesdays are Wing Night at Halifax Alehouse, where you can get 10 wings and a whole pitcher of Bud for $14.50, and a live band to accompany your drinking.

Thursday: The Dome // 1726 Argyle St.

This one’s a bit of a no-brainer. Students know that on Thursdays, Dome is Home with $5 cover, and Throwback Thursday being the theme of the night, hit after hit will keep you dancing well into the night.

Friday: Reflections Cabaret // 5187 Salter St.

Feel Good Fridays with Dj IV will make your Friday night something to remember. Reflections is best described as “something for everyone”, and when you get in, you’ll see what we mean. It’s a place of acceptance for everyone, no matter or age, ethnicity, gender or sexuality, to be unified by the power of music.

Saturday nights at the Seahorse are always hopping, with live concerts on most Saturdays and the original Retro Night once a month, which are the perfect opportunity to get dressed up and get drenched in sweat as you dance the night away to your favourite hits from the 80’s.

Finally, to cap off the week on the best note possible, head over to LD for Signal Hill Sundays, where Halifax’s best acoustic cover band will have you clapping and singing away to “Barrett’s Privateers” and over Nova Scotia classics, as well as many other songs you know and love.

Hundreds Of People Partied In The Streets Of Kingston Over The Weekend (VIDEO)

People were seen shooting off fireworks and chilling on rooftops.

Hundreds took to the streets of Kingston on Saturday night for a party that was roughly 12 times the size of outdoor gatherings legally allowed in Ontario right now.

Kingston Police Constable Ash Gutheinz told Narcity that officers were called to Aberdeen Street at around 2:40 a.m. on Sunday, July 5 to break up a large party consisting "predominantly of post-secondary student age, in apparent contravention of public health COVID-19 rules."
