You Can Get Free Gelato At This Halifax Cafe

In honour of the warm spring weather, Humani-T Cafe at 1451 South Park Street has decided to offer a free gelato giveaway on April 15th, 2017.  The giveaway will take place between 2pm and 8pm in an effort to raise awareness for a charity called Hope For Wildlife.

The Eastern Shore Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre, which later became Hope For Wildlife, is the first privately owned wildlife rehabilitation centre in Nova Scotia, taking in about 3,500 animals per year.  This massive Seaworth farm accommodates thousands of visitors for guided tours, in the hopes of educating Nova Scotians about the importance of "conserving wild animals and the ecosystems that sustain them."  Hope For Wildlife works hard to rescue, rehabilitate, and release back into the wild injured and orphaned wildlife, and they need your help!

Drop by Humani-T over Easter Weekend and enjoy a free small gelato in the name of preserving Nova Scotia's diverse wildlife, and educate yourself about the work of this amazing local foundation here.
