Halifax Is Hosting The World's Biggest Indoor Christmas Lights Festival & It's So Extra
It's never too early to begin counting down to the holiday season. It's hard not to fall in love with the magic of snow, carols, and twinkling lights. This year, you can start celebrating the Christmas festivities a little earlier because Glow Gardens is coming to Halifax!
We're so excited that the world's largest indoor Christmas lights festival will be in Halifax from November 27, 2019, to January 4, 2020. Instead of freezing outdoors trying to see your neighbours' Christmas lights, you can stay warm and cozy inside Glow Gardens.
Since the launch of Glow Gardens back in 2017, the event has expanded to 11 cities in Europe, the United States, and Canada. This year, the event will be happening in Vancouver, Ottawa, Edmonton, Toronto, Abbotsford, Saskatoon, and Halifax.
If you adore the magic of the holiday season, you can't miss Glow Gardens. Inside the Halifax Exhibition Centre, there will be 85,000 square feet of dazzling illuminated structures with approximately one million lights. It will be such an incredible sight to behold.
At Glow Gardens, you can enjoy live entertainment, eat delicious food, and get a festive cocktail at the bar. And if you haven't finished your holiday shopping, you'll want to explore the Christmas market.
Glow Gardens will also be the perfect spot to take some festive photos for Instagram. This year, they will have tons of photo backdrops filled with twinkling lights so you can get cute pictures with your friends. For another illuminated photo spot, you'll want to visit the LED swings, too.
