Formerly 1101 CaféBar, this Hamilton spot rebranded in 2021 to the vintage-inspired convenience store it is today. From Canadian craft beer to non alcoholic canned cocktails, the shop carries a wide variety of beverages, stored in coolers with a bold “Treat Yourself” adorned along the top. They even have their own house brew — the 1101 Pilsner.
The selection of snacks and spirits wraps around the old-school lunch counter, complete with a menu letterboard reminiscent of an outdated bowling alley.
If you’re looking for some of the best tacos in Hamilton, this Crown Point joint serves delicious takes on the classic, featuring locally-sourced ingredients. But, if you’re not in the mood for Mexican food, 1101 Convenience also serves hearty soups and fully-loaded homemade sandwiches, like the mortadella or porchetta favourites.
