By this time, you definitely know who Shay Mitchell is. She was one of the liars on the hit show Pretty Little Liars, and ever since then she's been not only venturing out, but also documenting her life on her YouTube channel. 

Shay was known as the tomboy on Pretty Little Liars, who struggled with her sexuality and confidence on the show. In real life? Shay couldn't be more opposite of her character Emily. Shay is always seen looking stunning, and whenever she is seen eating pizza, you wonder how she has such an amazing body. Well, that's because her normal diet is clean and definitely leaves room for her to indulge every once and a while.

It's clear to see that Shay Mitchell isn't scared of eating what she wants, but if you follow her on Snapchat or Instagram, you'll see that she works out hard AF. Because Shay is either working or travelling, it's hard for her to stay on a consistent schedule. But when she is at home or working, her diet is simple. Lean, clean, and green.

Shay mentioned to PEOPLE earlier this year that food and exercise is a balance for her. She said "Unless I'm prepping for something that requires I be really strict with my food, I really do try to eat healthy and clean – but will also have a slice of pizza if that's what I'm craving." God bless her. She also said that she loves to switch up her workouts with spin, hiking or boxing. On an everyday, this is what Shay eats to fuel her workouts and to get her amazing body:

For breakfast: A smoothie with 1 scoop of protein powder, a big handful of spinach, 1 frozen banana, 1/2 cup of almond milk, 1 tsp. powdered peanut butter, 1 tsp. ground flax, water and ice. 

Snack: 2 mashed hard boiled eggs with chili oil, salt and pepper.

Lunch: A huge salad (preferably from a restaurant called Sweetgreen's) that has organic baby carrots, spinach, shredded kale, spicy broccoli, raw beets, bean sprouts, spicy quinoa, roasted sesame tofu, hot sauce, and carrot chili vinaigrette. If you can't tell, Shay loves spicy food which definitely revs up her metabolism!

Dinner: Baked salmon with a side of asparagus. 

As you can tell, Shay keeps her diet super clean. However, on an average day, you'd probably need a few more carbs to keep you from craving all the wrong foods. This lifestyle wouldn't work for everyone, but with how clean she eats and how much she works out, it's evident that that's how her body stays so lean.
