Sarofim’s father, Fayez, is reportedly worth $1.48 billion dollars.
He’s the second largest shareholder in Kinder Morgan and also owns a stake of the Houston Texans NFL team.
In 2015 he was named the 847th richest person on the entire planet.

So she’s dating the son of a VERY VERY rich man.
Like Lavigne, Sarofrim has been married before, he was previously married to a woman named Lori Krohn.
In a bit of a weird twist Sarofim’s billionaire father then married his own son’s mother-in-law.
In case you’ve forgotten Lavigne herself was once married to Chad Kroeger of the band Nickleback from 2013-2015.

Lavigne and Sarofim apparently met a dinner party hosted by a mutual friend of theirs and have been seeing each other for a few months now.
