Happy Prime Day everyone! Yes, it’s officially the day where Amazon rewards those who have a Prime subscription with amazing deals all day.

Amazon has tweaked this year's Prime Day in a number of different ways from previous years.

And you’re guaranteed savings on certain products so let's get to it.

Firstly, Amazon while it’s called ‘Prime Day’ it doesn’t really run all day, the deals don’t actually start until 3 P.M. ET and run for 36 hours after that.

That means that while you have to wait for the best shopping deals, you do get basically a day and a half to take advantage of them.

Now once it starts, what sort of deals can you expect to find?

As usual, Amazon is giving a lot of preference to its own products, with up to 25% off AmazonBasics.

Some movies and TV shows will also have massive savings for Prime members, at 50% off. Amazon is even giving away a free PC game each day until July 18.

And also new this year is a section on Whole Foods, where Prime members will save 10% if they spend $35.

There are tons of other deals across the store for Prime members to take advantage of, and if you aren’t a member right now but want in on the action you still have until 3 P.M. to sign up to the free 30-day trial.

So get ready for one of the biggest online shopping days of the year and good luck finding all the deals you’re looking for.
