Forget your typical bubble bath; you'll want to try this relaxing experience instead. We found one of Alberta's best-kept secrets. Did you know you can treat yourself to a soak in the warmest mineral springs in the Canadian Rockies? You can soak in these turquoise blue hot springs pools in Alberta and they're super cheap.

Treating yourself to a spa day doesn't need to be expensive. For just a few bucks, you can enjoy a relaxing soak in a picturesque setting with your friends.

Close to both Calgary and Edmonton, you can enjoy the ultimate lazy day at Miette Hot Springs. The scenic drive there is breathtaking through Fiddle Valley before you reach the steamy pool of water within Jasper National Park.

Typically, the springs are open every year from May to mid-October, with the exact opening times depending on the month.

What we love about this spot in Alberta is how you can soak your sore muscles in the mineral-rich water while enjoying the panoramic view of the mountains.

It is the perfect spot to disconnect from your phone for a few hours and focus on nothing but the beauty of nature.

Sometimes it can be easy for any of us to get caught up on social media updates or stress at the office, so it is essential to find time to unwind too.

While it is entirely possible to spend the day here relaxing, you might prefer to begin your day with a quick adventure.

The hot spring is near one of Jaspers's best hikes, Sulphur Skyline trail. So you can hike in the morning, then kick back at the springs after.

Entry is just $7.21 a person, or roughly half the price of a movie ticket or slightly more than a latte at Starbucks.

To save some extra cash make sure to bring a towel. Otherwise, you can rent one for an additional $1.90.

If you can see yourself wanting to go more than once, it might be more cost-effective to buy a season pass. The passes are $63.21 a person, but grant you unlimited access, allowing you to go every weekend if you wish.
