A Massive And Tasty Oktoberfest Is Coming To Houston This September

Fall is just around the corner and Texans are already getting excited. We are all ready for the cooler temperatures, spooky events, and pumpkin-flavored everything. But undeniably one of the best parts about fall is all of the German holidays and events! Houston is getting an Oktoberfest next month and you do not want to miss it.

On September 27 and 28, Houston will be having a giant Oktoberfest celebration at Buffalo Bayou Park. Expect to see thousands of mugs of beer, countless bratwurst, and so much festive dancing. There will also be plenty of events that are included with entry from their Oktoberfest Olympiad Games to their beer pong & cornhole tournaments, along with exciting adult game areas and costume contests.

The food at the event will include some of Germany's best dishes from the legendary King's BierHaus from bratwurst to pretzels to saurkraut. You can end off your delicious meal with a German chocolate cake or another satisfyingly sweet German treat. And of course, you can wash all of this down with a mug of beer from Houston's best (and Germany's best) breweries,

Beers that are to appear at the event include Hofbrau Original, Warsteiner, Buffalo Bayou Brewing Company, Spaten Oktoberfest and many, many more. You won't know which one to try first!

Tickets for Houston's Oktoberfest 2019 are on sale now on their Eventbrite page here.
