You Can Drink Unlimited Margs & Float Around Houston's Bayous On A Boat This Month
Nothing screams warm weather more than drinking on a boat. Grabbing a cool boozy drink and relaxing out on the water makes the perfect day! To be able to do so, you either have to have your own boat or befriend someone who does. This month, you won't need your own boat because the popular Mexican Restaurant Cuchara is setting sail with their Houston area boat with unlimited margs!
Cuchara Restuarant is bringing back their Xochimilco-inspired boat rides and it's so popular, the first announced sailing date, February 29, already booked out.
But don't worry, they're still going to announce more boat tour dates so keep up with their Instagram for when they announce them.
The event is inspired by Mexico City and their Aztec Xochimilco boats that would ride up and down the canals. The popular Mexican food spot has brought that ancient history over to Houston.
Before Harvey, Cuchara Restaurant would put on these events on every year but this will be the first time since the hurricane that the boat is back!
Usually, Cuchara Restaurant has around 6 boat tour dates a year but if you want to rent it out for a private party for up to 14 guests, you can.
The hour and a half long ride will go from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. where the boat will be going up and down Buffalo Bayou.
Since the bayou is in the middle of the city, you'll get some pretty great views of Downtown from the boat.
While onboard, you'll get to snack on ceviche and drink unlimited margaritas while listening to live music, all while floating down the bayou.
Tickets are $100 but it's well worth the price because of all that's included and that it's a super unique and cool experience.
