A Massive Tim Burton-Themed Festival Is Coming To Houston This Month

Plus a screening of Beetlejuice!
A Tim Burton Fest In Houston Is This Month

It's impossible to not be a fan of at least one Tim Burton movie. Even more specifically, it's impossible to not be a fan of his film Beetlejuice. If you haven't seen it yet, then you're seriously missing out, but you don't have to for much longer because a Tim Burton festival in Houston is taking place later this week, with a screening of that very movie!

The Karbach Biergarten is hosting Burton and Booooze, a Burtonesque Market Day with a screening of Beetlejuice later that night.

The market will open at 12 p.m. and have local vendors and artists with tons of Burton-themed items in tow. Plus you'll leave with special edition Burton glassware, and that alone is worth the visit, if you ask me.

The screening of Tim Burton's Beetlejuice will begin at 6 p.m. and end at 8 p.m.

Costumes are highly encouraged throughout the entire event, and while Beetlejuice may be the movie of choice, a character from that specific film doesn't necessarily need to be your costume of choice.

The best Burton-inspired costumes will leave with the coolest prizes, so start planning what you'll be wearing ASAP! The fest is coming up soon, after all.

If you love Tim Burton but aren't in the Houston area, there's plenty of other events happening in Texas where you can celebrate him and all of his iconic movies. Take The Nightmare Before Christmas Gothic Ball and Bazaar in Austin, for example!

We can't wait to see you there with your best Burton-inspired costumes — we know we'll be in ours.

Burton & Booooze — A Burtonesque Market

Price: Free!

When: Sunday, November 17

Address: 2032 Karbach St., Houston, TX

Why You Need To Go: To celebrate Tim Burton, have an excuse to see Beetlejuice for the millionth time and leave with tons of cool Burton-inspired merch.

Forever Fest is bringing a free three-day festival to Toronto this week, and it will support the Legacy of Hope Foundation, an Inidengous charity that supports survivors of residential schools.

The festival will run from October 1 to 3 at Maple Leaf Forever Park and feature live Candian music with headliners like The Standstills, Skye Wallace and The Garden Rock Cover Band.

The COVID-19 pandemic pretty much ruined all of our festival fun in 2020, but one massive music fest is returning this year to make up for the absence of good jams and raging crowds.

The Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, hosted in Manchester, Tennessee, is returning this year from September 2-5 and they're bringing Lizzo, the Foo Fighters and many other big-name artists with them.
