Now that the month of November is in full swing, German-inspired festivals in Texas have been coming and going faster than we can keep track of. We're here to inform you that there are actually still plenty to look forward to, especially near Houston. A German Christmas market that doubles as a festival each year will be back in Houston this December, with more than they've had any year before.
Tomball German Christmas Market, also known as Tomball German Festival, starts on Friday, December 13 and ends Sunday, December 15. With the fest being open all three days you're given plenty of time to stop by, and we couldn't be more grateful!
Their hours are from 6 to 10 p.m. on Friday, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
Admission into the festival is free, as well as parking plus a shuttle service, which will take you straight to the event.
Once you've arrived, you'll be greeted by four music stages, 200+ street vendors, a petting zoo, street performers, and so much more. There will be so many yummy treats to eat and drink while you're strolling the grounds, you won't ever want to leave.
If you ask me, this may be the best German-inspired fest Texas has ever seen.
Tomball is a short drive from the city of Houston, so if you're a fellow Houstonian then you're very much in luck. If not, we recommend planning a day trip one of the days the fest is open to avoid major FOMO.
Festivals are happening all around Texas this time of year, so if you're looking for more than just one to visit don't hesitate to explore your city or scroll through awesome events here.
