The event will take place at Market Square Park located on 300 Travis St from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is free to enter. At the event, your dog will be able to enjoy a 4,500-foot dog play area as well as participate in a dogs costume contest. Winners of the contest will receive a giant doggie goodie bag.
There will be food trucks for both you and your furry friend to enjoy. Niko Niko's and other shops from the park will be there with beers, food and mimosas for all dog owners to enjoy. Relax at the park with the tastiest food and drinks while your pup has a blast with all of the dog friendly activities. Your pup can also enjoy some sweet doggie treats!
If you're not a dog owner, you're still invited to come hang out and you will have the opportunity to adopt a new furry best friend.
If your pet is due for a checkup there will be local vet trucks there to help out with basic needs. There will also be live music by DJ Illset to wake you up and get the party pumping. To make things more fun people, can take a swing at the largest dog piñata in the world.
There is no size limit for dogs so feel free to bring all your furry friends no matter how big or small they may be. Come for the food, music, fun, and activities at the largest dog festival in Houston!

At the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Davis recognized Floyd as a "guiding light" in his community, and wanted his mural placed in front of this high school to "inspire students and give a voice to the struggle for social justice in Houston and the world."
The mural was commissioned by Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis, the Houston Society for Change, and 88 C.H.U.M.P., a non-profit social activism organization created by Floyd’s football teammates.
