This Brand New Houston-Themed Bar Is The Perfect Way To Rep H-Town

You can even grab a pink Lizzie McGuire drink.

Houston's home to a lot of things that aren't so awesome (sitting in the hot sun while stuck in traffic always sucks), but this city is also home to some pretty amazing places and people. With so much to love in H-town, it's no surprise that there's a brand new bar dedicated to all things Houston.

Bar Eighteen36 just had their soft opening on January 24 and debuted their Houston themed bar with a warm reception.

The bar's walls are full of homages to Houston's history with different artifacts and even a hand-painted mural map of the city.

Even their name is in honor of the city because 1836 is the year Houston was founded! But we all remembered that from our Texas history classes in school, right?

They sell unique hand-crafted cocktails that, of course, are also Houston themed. With different cocktails like "Black Gold" and a pink drink one in honor of one of Houston's most iconic Disney celebrities, "Lizzie McGuire", it's the perfect place to really soak in and celebrate Houston!

Eighteen36 also serves food and their menu includes bar eats like juicy burgers, gyros, and pizza.

Their food menu comes from The Roadster Grill which was a Houston staple until it closed a few years ago. It is now back and better than ever at Eighteen36.

Eighteen36 is the perfect place for out-of-towners to immerse themselves in the city they're visiting and where locals can remind themselves why they love Houston.

While this is the first Houston-themed bar, there has been a  trend of new local bars showing love for the city like this new downtown spot that has a mural that showcases one of the biggest rising musicians in the world, Travis Scott.

Houston's skyline is easily one of the city's most iconic features and there's also a bar that offers the perfect views of the gorgeous skyline.
