So long boys! I'll send you a post card from Paradise Falls...
You Can Visit This Dreamy Balloon Pop-Up In Houston For Only 2 Days This Month

Ever since "Up" came out and showed us how to adventure in style, we've been trying to find an abandoned surplus of balloons to seize the opportunity—which is, as you'd imagine, pretty challenging. But this month, for just one weekend only, Big Ass Balloons is coming to help us out with our balloon dreams.

Because last years pop-up was such a hit, the biggest balloon installation in the city is coming back for just one weekend on August 24 and 25th.

In a rainbow of colors, the balloons will take guests on a walk-through of helium-inflated backdrops themed as seasons, underwater worlds, galaxies, flowers, and sweets.

Tickets are only $20 per person, and there are three time slots to choose from between 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. You must buy your tickets in advance online to head to this incredible, colorful wonderland. But whichever slot you choose, you'll get to hang out for a full 3 hours.

You can even book a one-hour private session on August 23 for $60 per person. If it makes you an airhead for wanting to see it before everyone else, then you're in the right place.

Whenever you go, just make sure you pull out your best 'fit, bring your photo ID, lots of props, and your best photographer friend. But maybe leave the sewing needles at home, okay?

The event will take place at the Revere, a classy Houston venue. I'm just really hoping to see Doug there, or maybe he's hiding under the porch?

While you're out outside checking for Kevin the bird, stop by the snowcone truck—yum! And inside the venue, there will be a cash bar with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to enjoy as you explore.

The Balloon Room

Price: $20

Address: 7122 Old Katy Rd, Houston, TX 77024

Why you need to go: To add a last-minute summer pop of color to your IG feed, and experience an adventure like everyone's favorite boy scout Russell.
