Most of Texas has been experiencing cold fronts in one way or another, but it seems like Houston is having a hard time letting summer go. Houston had a very short cold front earlier this month and it has been a struggle. Another cold front is set to hit Houston this week, and Twitter has some thoughts on the single "cold" day they've had.
Houstonians held nothing back when it came to the weather. Some people even left town and were disappointed when it wasn't cooler upon their return. Some of the coldest weather they experienced was in the mid to high 70s this past weekend.

It comes as no surprise that people were extremely disappointed. Houston weather is supposed to drop down in the 70s this week before picking back up to the 80s and 90s on the weekend.
Mornings will feel a little cooler, but for the most part, it seems like Houston isn't done having it's hot girl summer moment yet.

When the short cold front did hit, it seemed like everything was right with the world. Some Twitter users even said it was better than Christmas. For a short time, it was all about boots, sweaters, and delicious warmer food from hot chocolate to freshly baked pumpkin bread. But think about it this way; the warmer temperatures gives you a little more time to buy new boots at the Outlets before the weather really gets cold.
