Houston Is Hosting The World's First Hip-Hop & Food Festival This March

You know that the food is good when it makes you do a little dance in your seat. And this March, you'll be able to unleash all of your eating happy dances at the World's First Hip-Hop Food Festival in Houston.

On March 7, this groovy foodie event will kick off at 3 p.m., and last until 10 p.m in Area 59.

The hosts promise the tacos will have you two-steppin', the boudin will have you bouncin', the turkey legs will have you twerkin', and the BBQ will have you boogie-ing.

So, we've got high hopes. And if nothing else, at least we'll work off the carbs in the process.

Located at Area 59 Outdoor Event Area, the parking lot will be packed full of all the best food vendors, shops, and outdoor games. Inside, you can find trap karaoke, a full bar, and VIP sections.

And of course, there will be music inside and out. Lots of it. From hip-hop to old-school, there will be something for everyone.

Food vendors are still TBA, but keep up with the host's FB page for updates.

The host, Green Light Events, also puts on the yearly Houston Food Fest that Houstonians love so much. So you know the food is going to be great.

Early bird tickets are on sale for just $5 — so grab 'em while they last. The crowds are for sure gonna be large.

You will still have to bring extra cash to purchase the food separately, but at least for $5 you know you can get down to some hip-hop.

Kids 8 and under get in for free, because kids dancing to Biggie honestly makes the whole party.

But we're not done celebrating our fav Houston foods — this March, don't miss the Tomball German fest for all the best German foods.
