A Brand New Arcade Just Opened Near Houston With A Multi-Level Go-Kart Track
While there are a lot of great perks to being an adult (hello legal drinking age) some things were just better when we were kids. Like going to the arcade to play games on our parents' dime, riding go-karts, and even laser tag were the best ways to spend a weekend as a kid. But there's a new massive go-kart track near Houston that'll remind us of all of the best parts of being a kid!
Andretti in Katy just opened a couple of days ago and it's a massive indoor arcade and game center. It's nice that it's all indoors, especially with summer coming up soon.
With mini-golf, laser tag, VR, and the most insane loopy indoor go-kart track there's a ton to do in one spot. The track is a multi-level huge track and looks like a really unique place to go out with friends.
Andretti is open Sunday through Thursday from 10 to 12 a.m. and on Fridays and Sunday from 10 to 1 a.m., perfect for late-night laser tag.
There is no admission fee to get into the center, instead, you pay as you go. This means you get to pick and choose what you want to do which sounds like a pretty sweet set up!
For go-kart races, tickets start at $19.95, mini-golf (which is coming soon) is $10.95, and the laser tag is $9.95.
We aren't kids anymore, we don't have the same crazy amount of energy and all of these fun things definitely work up an appetite.
But, Andretti's has that covered with different dining options including everything from burgers to fusion bowls.
The best part of being an adult and playing all of the coolest childhood games is getting to do so with booze! And there's a bar where you can keep your glass full in between rounds of arcade games.
