Houston Just Got A New Wildly Popular Ice Cream Shop With Boozy & Exotic Flavors

More than 33 of the best flavors in town.
Houston's Jeni's Ice Cream Shop Just Opened In The Heights

We could complain about why we have so much humidity in December and dread the relentless summer months, or we could focus on the fact that living in a stove city has made us the perfect hot spot for the best ice cream shops. Especially Houston's new Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream that just joined the block in the Heights this month.

Jeni's has beloved locations across 12 different cities, including an Austin spot that opened just last year, an Atlanta location, and now Houston!

They have their grand opening today (Thursday, January 9) at 7 p.m. They will be giving away free ice cream and swag bags.

They have more than 33 flavors to choose from but hurry because they sell out often.

But whatever flavor you end up with, it surely won't be boring. They have everything: brambleberry crisp (don't ask me what that is), brown butter almond brittle, texas sheet cake, and fluffernutter pie pint, to name a few.

Try ordering that 10 times fast. Because you just might after you taste it.

And they even have boozy options like spiked eggnog icecream, Frosé + Bubbly, Middle West Whiskey and Pecans, and Cognac with gingerbread cake pieces.

They also offer a salted caramel sauce by the pint, dairy-free ice cream options for all our lactose-intolerant friends with FOMO, and party packs.

And don't forget to leave room for the ever-popular Bae ice cream, or some Meccha Matcha.

And if you can't make it down to the Heights, they sell pints in all your favorite Whole Foods markets to hold you over until you can experience it for real.
