Houston's popular Montrose area has always been a center for creativity. Visiting it will lead you to unique bars, cool stores, awesome artwork, and an overall feeling of admiration for all things artistic. Now, it's been announced that Montrose's newest creative hub broke ground this week and there are already a few awesome tenants that you can visit!

The Montrose Collective, once complete, will be almost 200,000 square feet of creative and retail space right off of Westheimer.

It's predicted to be home to a wide array of creatives and will have different stores and restaurants to enjoy.

You'll even be able to visit the new Montrose Public Library once it officially opens at the site.

The offices above the first-floor retail space will be rented out to artistic creators of all different forms, making Montrose even more of a space for creativity than it already is.

So far, The Montrose Collective already has four current tenants. They're the beloved Japanese restaurant Uchi, Hue Salon, Southside Espresso, and popular Montrose bar, Rosemont.

Rosemont serves up everything from boozy "Capri-funs," champagne bongs, huge punch bowls that are lit on fire, and their "Let's Get Smashed" drink that comes in an ice cube you have to smash open to drink!

The bar, as well as the other four tenants listed, are all open for business, so if you're interested in getting a first look at all The Montrose Collective, now's your chance.

Montrose is already one of the more exciting neighborhoods in Houston with a great art and bar scene so it's no surprise that it would be the chosen home of the new creative space.

If the first bar to sign on as a tenant to the Collective is any indicator as to how the new neighborhood center will be, then we can't wait to see who else signs on in the future.

And, of course, for everything to officially be open! Hopefully by next year.
