The most wonderful time of the year is almost here and that means a lot of food and fun activities to join in on. However, if you are vegan, you probably have a hard time finding festive events with a wide variety of holiday vegan food options. Sound familiar? Fortunately, the Vegan State Fair is back in Houston this December for its winter edition and it's what your plant-based Christmas fantasies are made of.
The Vegan State Fair will be in the city this December 8 and General Admission Tickets are only $8. There will be amazing vegan vendors, real snow, holiday trees and of course, the most awaited man of the season: Santa Claus.
The vegan State Fair celebrated another vegan event with a Pumpkin Patch last October, but now they're all about the winter season.
At the Nutcracker Market, you can treat yourself with classic Christmas delicacies made without animal products created for experienced hands of vegan vendors from all over Texas. Also, you can buy a variety of cruelty-free gifts to give to your friends and family during the festivities. They will be wrapping your presents for free.
Make sure to bring the whole family or your group of friends a day full of winter fun. Unfortunately, since it's an indoor market they can't accommodate doggies, so leave your furry pal at home.
The event will be featuring music from DJ Vala and live dance performances. Activities will include a live cooking show with Gabrielle Reyes at 11:15 a.m., while the Nutcracker Ballet will have a show at 1:00 p.m. and a Hip-Hop live performance will be happening at 3:00.
You can purchase the General Admission Ticket that is an entrance fee, or go VIP.
The VIP tickets will include a holiday bag full of goodies like LUSH products, and other vegan brand samples, your printed picture with Santa and a glass of Glühwein or vegan Hot Cocoa to get in the mood of the season. Make sure to use the promo code “Houston” for a discount when buying here.
