Last Night Lizzo's Houston Girl Pride Was On A New Level With Normani

Lizzo has had a busy past few months, but seeing as how she's in everyone's speakers these days, this should come as no surprise. There's one thing the star always has time for, and that's showing off her Houston girl pride! Last night, Lizzo was in the company of fellow Houstonian, Normani, and the girls took the opportunity to get a picture together and shoutout the city that made them who they are today!

During what we can only assume was press after her appearance at Tampa's Jingle Ball, Lizzo ran into fellow star Normani, and they took to Instagram to show it off.

Lizzo captioned the photo of her and Normani with "Houston girls thick, fine and pretty" and we couldn't agree more.

The photo above is a screenshot from Lizzo's Instagram story, where the artists look like two peas in a pod.

Though Normani wasn't born in the great state of Texas, she moved there when she was young and grew into her stardom from Houston.

Normani isn't shy of her roots, specifically on Instagram, and this isn't her first time her true Texan colors have shown on social media.

When we say Whataburger is better than any other burger joint, just know that we have Queen Normani to back us up.

It is not unknown for artist Lizzo to shout out Houston girls specifically, and we're hoping to get so much more great content from her and her fellow Texan stars.

The singer and rapper sported a full Gucci outfit topped with a cowboy hat to show off her Texan pride. She looked incredible on the red carpet with her stunning confidence and sly smile.

A Lizzo and Normani collab is something we have yet to see, but it's something that we're dying to. If they mentioned H-Town in one of their songs, we'd probably lose it.

Maybe Beyonce could squeeze herself in there, seeing as she's a Houston native as well.

Lizzo has already taken the world by storm, and we see her continuing to do so for many more years to come.

Whether she's in the company of Normani, Beyonce, her fans, or her awards, she's killing it!

Say it with us, 2020 is The Year of Lizzo.
