Massive Daiquiris Are Served At This Nola Themed Houston Bar

One of the most iconically fun parts of a night out on the town in New Orleans is hitting up one of the many daiquiri bars for really strong fruity-frozen drinks and jello shots. But NOLA is far from Houston and it's not easy to make the drive out so luckily there's a bar in Houston that's serving up NOLA-esque daiquiris!

Voodoo Queen Daiquiri Dive in East Downtown Houston serves up massive fruity drinks and gives off major Bourbon Street vibes.

The bar is open every day from noon to 2 a.m. so that's plenty of time to share a party bowl with friends and maybe even take a couple of jello syringes.

Their menu includes huge fruity drinks like daiquiris, huge jello syringes, a ton of different kinds of super-strong Coladas, and party bowls that are lit on fire!

Stepping into the Houston dive bar feels like stepping into a Bourbon Street spot. There are major witchy vibes with voodoo themed art all over the walls, neons everywhere, and even a wall of daiquiri machines that are constantly spinning.

There's also a big outside patio, pool tables, and different arcade games.

The drinks are definitely as strong as anything you might find on Bourbon Street so you might need some carbs to help soak up the alcohol.

This is fine because they have a full menu with yummy cajun food like poboys, chicken and waffles, and even hushpuppies. Yum!

With Mardi Gras coming back to Houston soon, this dive bar is the perfect place to visit if you can't make it out to Bourbon Street to celebrate. Voodoo Queen is a really fun mix of Houston-meets-NOLA but with massive drinks!
