If kayaking through Houston on its most iconic bayou isn't already on your bucketlist, then it should be. Luckily, Bayou City Adventures is offering an opportunity for you to quickly check that off your current or soon-to-be list and they're even taking it to the next level. This month you can see Houston's incredible skyline while taking a river tour through a serene 7.5 mile long body of water.

On Saturday, April 27th a friendly Bayou City Adventures guide will lead the way through Woodway Memorial Park to Sabine Street for a rougly 3.5 hour tour. In total, you'll be traveling about 7.65 miles from start to finish and you'll be in a kayak the entire time! Tickets for the river riding event are $60 and each kayak will hold 2 people, so come in pairs or be prepared to make some new friends.

Because of its location, the Houston skyline is a the greatest thing to see from the point of view on the river, especially in it's beautiful entirety. That's what makes Bayou City Adventures tour so unique. At the end of your tour you'll be able to see the stunning skyline from the water, which is the only right way to finish an already gorgeous trip.

In addition to seeing Houston's skyline, along the way you'll be navigating through places like Hogg Bird Sanctuary, Waugh Bridge Bat Colony, and Eleanor Tinsley Park. These featured sites and all the scenery will drop your jaw to the bottom of the kayak with their incredible beauty. No real kayaking experience is needed for the tour, so beginners are more than welcome to ride along.

Bayou City Adventures is located at 1520 Silver St, Houston, Texas 77007. For more information on what to bring with you to the tour and where to buy tickets, you can visit Bayou City Adventures' website for all that and more.
