Whether it's those old black-and-white Who Done It and Pink Panther films that grandma made us watch or the intense feelings tied to our first game of Clue—we all have a deep-rooted itch to solve a murder mystery. Well, folks, that rather strange dream of yours is about to come true, because the ultimate crime-solving party is taking place this November at the Memorial Wine Cellar's Murder Mystery dinner in Houston.
On Saturday, Nov. 9, the Memorial Wine Cellar and the Creative Learning Center are teaming up to put on one crazy evening of wine, complete with a whole lot of clues and feminine gasping.
The event will begin promptly at 3 p.m. (murder waits for no one) and will conclude at 5 p.m. However, they recommend you arrive earlier to fully get into character and get your buzz on.
You can either participate as a character in the crime or put on your detective hat and try to figure out who did it.
Tickets are $45 per person and can be ordered online. Your ticket includes your first glass of wine. The rest of your detective-impairment is totally your fault.
And if you can't make it or you catch the detective-high from this event, check out the Creative Learning Society website for more upcoming murder mystery events. They host detective games, murder mysteries at cafes, vineyards, inns, etc. (whatever your preferred homicide location).
So grab your fedoras, your friends, and channel your inner Pink Panther, Houston. We're going crime-solving.
(No people were sacrificed in the making of this event. Can't promised they weren't frightened, though. Seems pretty intense.)
