A Massive & Free German Festival Is Coming To Houston This Spring

There's something magical about the German culture and a festival full of foods we can't pronounce. And Houston does them both the best. This March, the Tomball German Heritage Festival is coming back to Houston for another grand weekend of European celebrations.
On March 27 through March 29, you can expect live music on four different stages, German dancing, a petting zoo for the kiddos (or adult kid-at-hearts), a colorful carnival, beer (lots and lot of beer), wine, shopping, and face painting.
Starting at 6 p.m., the heritage event is being held in the heart of old town Tomball—a town lacking no shortage of antique shops and adorable vintage vibes.
There will be over 200 vendors at this world-renowed fest and there will be no shortage of Sauerbraten and soft pretzels.
Admission is free, and even parking won't have you spending a dime! But you're gonna want to hold on to your wallet for when you find the beer boots and soft pretzels.
The event kicks off from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, and parties on from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, and concludes at 6 p.m. on Sunday.
There will be lots of photo opts, so dress culturally-appropriate for the event!
You don't have to be German to attend, but your purchases will benefit the Tomball Sister City Foundation, a nonprofit that benefits the German culture in Tomball's sister cities.
As we await another great year of Wurstfest and German Christmas markets in Houston head out to the Tomball fest to hold yourself over!
