One of the most classic stereotypes about Canada is that we all live in igloos. We don't, but there is an igloo Airbnb that can at least simulate that experience. It's actually so popular that it's already fully booked for 2020.

Located in Ste-Rose-du-Nord, Quebec, the Ô Pirates de l'Art Ice Hall gives guests the chance to party winter style in rooms carved out of snow and ice.

Guests can hang out in the cold accommodations (inside temperatures range between minus two and minus five), and enjoy the wintery outdoor weather with activities like bonfires, snowshoeing, and ice fishing.

Guests can also take the opportunity to get lessons in snow and ice sculpting. There are also board games and even a fondue set available upon request.

You can sleep in the colourfully lit icehouses with the rental of thermal sleeping bags, but there is a dormitory-style building on-site with four double beds if you don't want to brave the cold.

While the indoor accommodations can comfortably sleep eight people, it can also be converted to a room for two with banquettes and a dining area.

With all of these activities being outside during the winter, the hosts ask that all guests remember to bring warm clothing, including suitable snow boots.

Each night costs $366, or $45.75 per person for eight people.

However, there are also no bookings available until 2021, so you'd be planning your trip pretty far in advance.

You won't want to wait though. Booking now for January 2021 gets you an early bird discount of 10 percent off, dropping the price to $329 a night.

As of right now, there are no reviews for this truly unique way to spend a vacation.

While some people prefer to go somewhere warm or luxurious, this type of getaway would be perfect for the Canadian who has always wondered what it's really like to spend some time in an igloo.
