Internal Starbucks Documents Reveal That The Pumpkin Spice Latte Is Out In August, Here's When

Summer is coming to a close and while that's usually a depressing time of the year for some, it's the best time of the year for others. Sweater weather, fall colours, Thanksgiving turkey and of course pumpkin spice season!

And for any PSL lover, you know that Starbucks is known to roll out their signature fall drink on September 1st, and we all use the moment as the real start to the fall season.  And while September isn't that far away at all, there is some good news floating around that Starbucks could be releasing their signature PSL drink even sooner. 

The first hint was a Starbucks Reddit thread where a photo circulated showing that the PSL syrup was starting to make its way into Starbucks store locations.  

One commenter said, "I just received it last night and my partners heard me from all the way in the back 'WHY DO I HAVE EIGHT BOXES OF PUMPKIN SPICE ALREADY?! WHERE AM I SUPPOSED TO PUT THIS SHIT'"

Then Kate Taylor, a food beverage, and retail reporter at  let the cat out of the bag though that the release date would not be the standard start of September but rather August 28th.

She attained the information from a Starbucks internal fall menu announcement that marked the Tuesday before Labour Day as the exciting debut. 

Starbucks workers say stores are receiving PSL supplies and obsessives have a rumored launch date: August 28.

This is not the first time that Starbucks has released the drink in August but in the recent past, they've kept the official release consistent to September. And while Starbucks hasn't said anything publically about the release - based on the documents discovered it's pretty safe to say that we can all be sipping on our PSLs sooner than expected.
