People Are Convinced Kendall Jenner Just Got Caught Trying To Hide A Coke Sponsorship From Pepsi

Another day, another Kardashian getting roped into sponsorship related drama. From waist trainers and diet teas to appetite suppressant lollipops, the Kardashians have never shied away from a sponsorship... if it comes with the right price tag of course. Even Kendall, who had previously been quite selective with her sponsorships had found herself in hot water earlier this year when she was announced as the newest ambassador for Proactiv, an acne brand people are 100% convinced she's never even used before. So, is Kendall Jenner sponsored by Coca-Cola? Fans think so!
We can't forget the controversy Jenner found herself in with her Pepsi commercial. While Kendall has managed to move on from that fiasco, many are convinced that she is getting sponsored by a drink yet again. This time though, it's with Pepsi's biggest competitor, Coke.
It all started when paparazzi photos of Jenner were posted where fans could see Kendall going inside a convenience store to get a Coke. Funny enough, Kendall's Coke of choice was their brand new flavour, Orange Vanilla.
While at first glance it seems like a bit of a stretch, many fans began to question if this was just Jenner innocently grabbing a drink, or something more planned. For one, Jenner is coincidentally wearing an orange dress that matches the can she is seen with in the paparazzi photos. Then there is a weird way she decided to hold the can where it perfectly displays the Coke label. Beyond just that, she also posted a photo of herself at the payment counter with her drink on Instagram.
If the whole situation was a planned advertisement, it was definitely a sneaky one considering Kendall didn't disclose any disclaimers that it was part of a paid campaign or sponsorship. Though regardless of whether it was an ad or not, the posts and photos definitely got attention.
The photo posted on Jenner's Instagram amassed over 4.5 million likes. The paparazzi photos showing Kendall with her can of Coke, on the other hand, were picked up by massive publications such as Harpers Bazaar, Elle, Daily Mail, Vogue and Page Six.
While it's impossible to know at this point if the situation was an ad or not for sure, if it wasn't, Coke just got a lot of free advertising and exposure for their new flavour from one of the biggest celebrities in the world right now. That statement of course just seems too unbelievable for many when Instagram account @Diet_Prada posted the topic for discussion on their page:

It's unlikely that fans will ever know for sure what happened. However, with the digital advertisement still seeming like a wild west when it comes to regulation, it's smart as a consumer to think twice about posts that seem a little too curated to not be secretly sponsored.
