Twitter Users Are Calling Netflix’s "Secret Obsession" The Worst Movie They’ve Ever Seen

For most normal human beings, your worst nightmares may involve being caught up in a tragic accident and/or losing your memory. There would be nothing scarier than waking up one day in the hospital, only to realize that you've totally forgotten your entire life that you lived before. Lucky for most of us, it won't ever happen, but it is the plot of a new Netflix film! Is "Secret Obsession" on Netflix good? The film only scored 20% on Rotten Tomatoes.

The movie hit Netflix on July 18th, and when the trailer was first released, a lot of people were super excited to check it out! The movie stars Brenda Song as Jennifer, a newlywed who was brutally attacked and wakes up in the hospital with no memory.

When a handsome man named Russell who claims to be her husband shows up at the hospital to take care of her, Jennifer has no reason to doubt that she's in safe hands, and lets him take her back to their secluded home in the woods.

As time goes on, Jennifer becomes increasingly suspicious of the situation and realizes that Russell may not be who he says he is.

Perhaps the biggest critique that "Secret Obsession" is facing is the fact that the entire plot of the film is given away in the two-minute-long trailer, but people are also saying that the movie is "the worst they've ever seen".

Apart from people on Twitter absolutely ripping the film apart, it also scored an incredibly low rating of 20% on Rotten Tomatoes, so I think it's safe to say people aren't lying about their reviews of "Secret Obsession".

If you'd like to check out the trailer for yourself, you can do so below! It essentially gives away the entire plot of the film, so you might be able to save yourself from 97 minutes of disappointment.
