What People Consider To Be The “Scariest Movie Of All Time” Is Now On Netflix Canada

As far as horror movies go, there are usually three types of people - those who can't watch the movies at all, those who can watch them, but not alone, and those who love to binge watch them in a dark room, all by themselves. I tend to fall into the second category, but even then I try to avoid anything TOO scary. If you love a good horror movie though, we've got just the thing for you! It Comes At Night is now streaming on Netflix Canada.
The movie was initially released in 2017, and shortly after coming out it was dubbed "the most terrifying movie of 2017". It's an apocalypse style movie, where civilization has basically been destroyed, apart from a few survivors. The group bands together to form an alliance of sorts against the outside evil, but they soon realize that the evil may be coming from within.

The movie stars actors like Joel Edgerton, Christopher Abbott, Carmen Ejogo, and Kelvin Harrison Jr., among others. It scored a 6.2/10 on IMDb, and an 87% on Rotten Tomatoes (although the audience score is just 44%, probably because it's so f*cking scary).
The movie has sometimes been described as "slow" or "boring", but that's a tactic used by the filmmakers to build suspense and keep the audience full of anxiety about what's going to happen next. If gory movies are more your thing, you probably won't enjoy It Comes At Night, which is definitely a psychological horror film.
If you never got a chance to check it out while it was in theatres, now's your chance! It Comes At Night has been added to Netflix's streaming catalog as of June, so now you can watch it as many times as you want, whether it's alone, or during your next Netflix n' chill session.
