This Beer Trail In Jacksonville Will Take You On A Bubbly Adventure

Sometimes one beer is not enough to refresh on a balmy summer day. Instead of figuring out which brewery or bar to go, follow a beer venture in one of Florida’s biggest beer destinations. Jacksonville has an Ale Trail where you can try more than 14 craft breweries.

The Jax Ale Trail Passport is a self-guided tour where visitors can embark on a beer expedition at local breweries like Intuition Ale Works, Engine 15, Aardwolf, Veterans United and Bold City Brewing.

You can ask for an Ale Trail Passport at local breweries or at the Jacksonville Visitor Center. All you need is collect stamps for each beer you drink and win prizes when you fill it all out.

The beer trail will take you to 18 breweries some of which have won Best Florida Beer Championship. After collecting eight stamps you can earn a t-shirt and beer koozie, four stamps wins you a free koozie and a fully stamped passport wins you a super-secret price.

The participating craft breweries are located in Atlantic Beach, Jacksonville Beach, Orange Park and Downtown area.

During your beer expedition, you will find unique drinks such as an Irish coffee slush which is super Instagram-worthy. Guests can also join the Jax Brew Bus Beer Tour which takes visitors to three local breweries in 4.5 hours and includes 10-15 Jacksonville craft beers.

This is a fun tour to learn more about the different types of craft beers while exploring the town. Jacksonville beer history goes all the way back to the early 1900s, providing visitors unique tastes and flavors. So hop on a bus or go on a self-guided tour with a friend that will take you on a real beer venture.
