Jason Momoa Just Shaved His Massive Beard And He Looks Unrecognizable

Jason Momoa is known for his iconic roles in Game of Thrones and as Aquaman. If you haven't seen either of those, you still definitely know who he is. His beard gives him a wild and grungy look, but it totally works for him. But not anymore! Jason Momoa just shaved his massive beard and he looks unrecognizable. 

Why did he get rid of his signature look? Well, he was promoting Infinitely Recyclable cans. So, basically, he did this to save the planet. In his YouTube video, he can be seen cutting his beard before shaving it and telling the video that, "I think 2012 is the last time I shaved".

While him shaving his beard may not have anything to do with what he's promoting, it definitely makes people watch the video. The whole point of his YouTube video is so he can get people to make the switch from plastic to aluminum.

He says, "Most importantly, I just want to do this to bring awareness that plastics are killing our planet. And if we have a solution, I don't want to bitch about it. There's only one thing that can really help our planet and save our planet as long as we recycle—and that's aluminum."

He also bids a farewell to his past characters while shaving his beard by saying, "Goodbye Drogo. Goodbye Arthur Curry!" And yes, you can buy what he's promoting. Jason actually made canned water to go along with the video. Amazing. 

You can view the entire video below, but fans still think he looks "sexy" without the beard, while others are saying he shaved off years off his face. You can decide for yourself!
