This drive-in theater in Georgia is currently still open, and perhaps the perfect place to practice social distancing while getting out of the house. The Jesup Drive-In movie theatre in Jesup, Georgia has been open since 1948 and still going strong, showing films every night. There are two huge movie screens at this location that play double-features nightly.
This '50s-style drive-in allows you to practice social-distancing because you'll be sitting in your car the entire time without any human contact. Even your tickets will have to be purchased online before arrival.
Usually, the attraction has carhops that are dressed in '50s wear and will act as a waitress during your stay at the drive-in. When the pandemic is over and distancing laws are lifted, you'll be able to experience this amazing service.
The gates open every night at 7:00 p.m. and the cars will start flooding in to get the best spot. Keep in mind, ticket sales are strictly online.
All tickets are only $5 per person, so you'll be getting two tickets for the price of what one ticket would be at the regular movie theatre.
