Jimmy Kimmel Just Heard About Dildo, Newfoundland & Now Residents Are Begging Him To Visit

When it comes to late-night TV humour, a little innuendo is definitely expected, and that's why when Jimmy Kimmel heard about Didlo Newfoundland, he dedicated a whole segment on his show to it. The hilariously named town is in the eastern part of the province and is home to just under 1200 people. 

It seems the Kimmel, who hosts Jimmy Kimmel Live, first heard about the town of Dildo in a news clip and it all spiraled from there. He starts the segment by saying "This something I can't believe it took me 51 years of my life to find out about. There's a town in Newfoundland, which is in Canada that has... well maybe you guys know about this." Although it's worth noting that in doing so Kimmel completely botched the pronunciation of Newfoundland. 

He then cuts to a series of local news clips, all about Dildo, Newfoundland and the audience absolutely loses it when one of the local residents in the clip says "I love Dildo." 

Kimmel also uploaded the clip to his Youtube channel with the somehow appropriate yet still suggestive title of "Canada has been Hiding their Dildo From Us." Now, his whole audience and at least 57,000 others on Youtube know all about Dildo. 

In the clip, Kimmel also reveals that he wants to find out everything he can about the small Newfoundland town. "I want to know everything about this place. I wanna go there, I wanna buy t-shirts, I wanna meet the townspeople - how do we not know about this?" 

Since the video, and this request from Kimmel to learn more and visit Dildo, has come out the people of Dildo and Newfoundland are eager to have the late-night host come to see them too. 

In fact, people have taken to Twitter recommending places where Kimmel can stay, visit, and buy t-shirts on his potential upcoming trip to Dildo. 

While this is undoubtedly exciting for Dildo, Newfoundland and the province as a whole, it wouldn't be the first time the town has garnered major attention. In fact, in the past Dildo has made the list of Pornhub's Top 50 places with sexual names, meaning residents there get to enjoy a lifetime of free porn. 

Now we all just need to wait and see if Jimmy Kimmel will make the trip north to Dildo, Newfoundland anytime soon!
