No one has impacted a generation the way J.K. Rowling has with the creation of the Harry Potter universe. It's shaped millennials into who they are today. We just got some news that'll send us down the wizarding spiral again. J.K. Rowling is releasing four new Harry Potter books!
The Harry Potter movie adaptations closed off the wizarding world in 2010. Since then we've gotten two movie prequels from the Fantastic Beasts Universe, and a sequel to the novels as a stage play. But nothing is better than getting actual content about Harry Potter.
Through her website, Pottermore (an interactive online game), our favourite author announced that she'd be releasing four books that will focus on the lessons taught at Hogwarts that were adapted from her previous audiobooks.
In the press release the books are described as "...the traditional folklore and magic at the heart of the Harry Potter stories."
The books will also include manuscripts, and sketches from Rowling's journey writing the Harry Potter series. They'll be available through Pottermore as e-books, so you better make your account now!
The books will be coming out June 27th and we can't wait to spend our summer finally beingable to learn like a Hogwarts student!
