Not everyone can be a member of the Royal family but you can get really close to the action by applying to work for them. Ever wanted a job at Buckingham Palace handling the Queen's social media pages? That could soon be a reality if you get hired for the job posted by the Royal Household.
There's a new opening at Buckingham Palace and Queen Elizabeth II is looking for someone to come in and handle all of her social media.
The position, Head of Digital Engagement, involves finding new ways to maintain the Queen's presence in the public eye and engage with a worldwide audience about the work of the Royal Family through social media.
Of course, many are eyeing this post — working for Her Royal Highness is quite a high-profile gig.
Only a day after posting the job on LinkedIn on December 12, there were already more than 200 applicants.

"Whether you're covering a State Visit, award ceremony or Royal engagement, you'll make sure our digital channels consistently spark interest and reach a range of audiences," the description states.
If you're a social media mogul and would love to move to England to work in Buckingham Palace, this is for you.
The salary is £45,000 to £50,000 a year depending on experience which is about CA$78,000 to CA$87,000.
If you're lucky enough to be hired, you'll work 37.5 hours a week from Monday to Friday in Buckingham Palace plus you don't have to bring lunch!
With the position, you'll get free lunch every day.
There is also a comprehensive benefits package, including a 15% contribution to a pension plan by the employer, 33 days off a year and access to training to continue your professional development.
