'Tis the season to be jolly and...to go Christmas carolling! The Scott family absolutely loves the classic holiday tradition that not many people participate in anymore. They still go door to door every year and it probably wouldn't bother their fans to see the Property Brothers on their doorstep either. This time there's an extra surprise because Jonathan Scott & Zooey Deschanel are going Christmas carolling with his family this year.

The couple met in August for James Corden's Carpool Karaoke and confirmed their relationship in October.

Things heated up quickly for the couple. Deschanel went with Jonathan to his older brother, J.D.'s wedding with Annalee Belle and earlier this month they made their red carpet debut too.

It's likely Scott and Deschanel get along so well because they're two peas in a pod. They're both huge Christmas lovers so they have an exciting holiday season to look forward to together.

The Scott family tradition includes Drew and his wife Linda, J.D. and Annalee, and the brothers' parents, Jim and Joanne.

Jonathan told PEOPLE that this year Deschanel is "leading that mix" and that "we're good singers and whatnot, but she is a professional."

Don't let her natural brunette hair fool you. Even though she had bleached blonde hair at the time, it was in fact Deschanel in the 2003 movie Elf playing Will Ferrell's love interest.

She has a few singing scenes including the iconic Baby It's Cold Outside.

Deschanel is also a professional singer and is part of the band, She & Him, alongside guitarist M. Ward.

The holiday loving duo released an entire Christmas album in 2011 called A Very She & Him Christmas.

So Deschanel is certainly up to the task of joining the Scott family's carolling tradition.

According to PEOPLE, they sing Joy to the World, We Wish You a Merry Christmas, and Mele Kalikimaka.

Jonathan also told them that their audience gets free cookies and hot chocolate too.

Hopefully, the couple will share an Instagram video of them belting out Christmas classics together.
