New Video Of How Jonathan Scott & Zooey Deschanel First Met Is Too Precious (VIDEO)

Maybe James Corden should consider changing his job title to matchmaker after this recent video. Lovebirds Jonathan Scott and Zooey Deschanel met on The Late Late Show With James Corden’s “Carpool Karaoke” segment last summer. However, the footage of the pair first meeting was only just released and it’s adorable.
The episode aired for the first time on Apple TV on February 28. It also featured Scott's twin brother Drew and Deschanel’s sister Emily.
The four A-listers spent the video remixing Deschanel’s solo from Elf, “Baby It’s Cold Outside” with Britney Spears’ “Hit Me Baby One More Time”. In between songs, the siblings answered questions about their childhoods.
It later transitioned into a hilarious scene of the Deschanel sisters putting on a musical all about "The Property Brothers."
You can watch a clip from the episode below.
While the purpose of the episode was to have the celeb siblings get in touch with their musical side, it also led to a love connection.
The episode was shot back in August of 2019 and was the first time Scott and Deschanel had met. It also happened to be just a few short weeks before it was confirmed that the two were romantically involved.
Since then, they’ve made their relationship Instagram official. They have been showing off their love on social media ever since, posting photos of their dates and even getting a little flirty on social media.
A source had reported to People that the two had “a really fun day” while shooting the segment. They “became friends" until they both felt that “there was more to it.”
Aside from their flourishing romance, the couple is staying busy. Jonathan Scott just announced he’s developing a children’s TV show with his brother about their childhood in Canada.
Deschanel has been laying low when it comes to her acting career and has been focusing more on music with her band She&Him.
The Property Brothers weren’t the only Canadians to appear on “Carpool Karaoke” in the past. Justin Bieber’s turn in the car last month exposed some of James Corden’s secrets about the segment, which had viewers going wild.
