Julianne Hough & Canadian Husband Brooks Laich Split After Nearly 3 Years Of Marriage

Another one bites the dust. After nearly three years of marriage, Julianne Hough and Brooks Laich have confirmed their separation. The couple recently released a statement explaining how they came to the decision.
"We have lovingly and carefully taken the time we have needed to arrive at our decision to separate," the pair told PEOPLE.
"We share an abundance of love and respect for one another and will continue to lead with our hearts from that place. We kindly request your compassion and respect for our privacy moving forward."
"It's over, it's been over for a while, and it's time to just call it what it is — and it is over," a source told PEOPLE. "There is honestly no ill will. He loves her. She loves him. I can truly say they always will. But they both understand they are not meant to go through their lives as husband and wife to each other."
The source also says that Hough is a "deeply different person than she was when they got married."
Earlier this year, breakup rumours began swirling around after the former Dancing with the Stars pro was spotted without her wedding ring.
It was confirmed by Hough herself that the two have been quarantining alone. In an interview with Oprah Magazine, she revealed that she's "been on her own" while "my husband is in Idaho doing lots of yard work...and so we're kind of doing our separate things right now."
The actress also revealed that the time spent apart has "really been a magical time."
IMDb claims that the Safe Haven actress and the hockey player married 3 years ago in July. After a year and a half of dating, they announced their engagement in August of 2015, according to PEOPLE.
When the breakup rumours first started going around, a source told the magazine, "She's very independent and a free spirit, and that's been tough for Brooks and their marriage."
