Kanye West Just Told TMZ That Slavery Was A Choice In A Bizarre Interview (Video)

For about the past week now Kanye West has been making news not for his music but for the things he’s been saying online and in interviews.

First there was his tweets in support of American president Donald Trump and then his 2 hour interview with radio host Charlamagne tha God where he talked about his mental breakdowns

And now in a new interview with TMZ West has some really strange things to say on the topic of slavery of all things.

So what exactly did he say that could be causing such a storm on this topic.

West said that slavery was something people chose to do.

“When you hear about slavery for 400 years, for 400 years that sounds like a choice.”

He continued with “you was there for 400 years and it’s all of ya’ll?”

Both of the hosts for the TMZ interview just sit there in stunned silence at what they’re hearing.

Later another TMZ employee gives West a bit of a dressing down, saying that West is entitled to his opinion but that:

“We have to deal with the marginalization that has come from the 400 years of slavery that you said for our people was a choice.”

West goes over and attempts to apologize then “I’m sorry I hurt you.”

The whole thing is unreal and incredibly bizarre to watch.

You can find it all in the video below.
