Kevin O’Leary was involved in a fatal boat crash in Ontario this weekend. The accident reportedly left one man dead and a woman critically injured. The incident took place at around 11:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Kevin O'Leary boat crash took place on Lake Joseph in Ontario's cottage country. O'Leary's wife was reportedly driving the boat when it suddenly rammed into a larger vessel. Kevin's boat reportedly flew directly over the other vessel's bow and struck a male passenger in the head, killing him instantly.

Leary later told TMZ, "Late Saturday night I was a passenger in a boat that had a tragic collision with another craft that had no navigation lights on and then fled the scene of the accident. I am fully cooperating with authorities."

"Out of respect for the families who have lost loved ones and to fully support the ongoing investigation, I feel it is inappropriate to make further comments at this time. My thoughts are with all the families affected,” he added.

A spokesperson for O'Leary told TMZ that his wife was operating the boat at the time of the accident. O’Leary’s spouse was administered a DUI test that evening which she passed.

A third individual was also reported to be in Kevin's boat at the time of the crash. The passenger was taken to the hospital, where she received stitches.

O’Leary’s spokesperson wanted to stress that it was the struck boat that fled the scene. It had previously been reported by TMZ that Kevin’s boat was the one that fled the scene.
