Khloe Kardashian wasn't always the gym-rat we know and love. When she first stepped into the spotlight back in 2007, she was often referred to as 'the fat sister' or the 'ugly' Kardashian, both of which couldn't be further from the truth. She was thick, tall, and indefinitely real - a size 12 in a size 2 world. However, Khloe sadly didn't get the support and love from her family that her size was acceptable. In fact, she got some pretty horrible things thrown her way.

Khloe revealed that when she, "used to shop at high-end boutiques for jeans with my sisters, they would ask for waist size 28 or 26. I would ask for a 31 and the sales assistants would look at me, make this hissing sound and reply, 'We don't carry that size here.' It made me feel so embarrassed and ashamed that for a long time in my life I didn't wear denim... It does scar. I've held on to those words for so long.'"

Khloe even revealed to her Revenge Body contestants that her own family had some terrible things to say about her weight. She remembered that her family once said,“‘Khloe, you got to lose weight cause you’re really hurting the brand.’” Khloe understood that these comments were coming from the business side of The Kardashians, but felt hurt just the same. She wouldn't begin to lose weight until her split with Lamar Odom, where she exercised to relieve stress, and eventually saw the pounds fall off.

We for one think Khloe looked beautiful then and now. Seriously, fuck anyone that says you have to lose weight to fit a certain image. It's 2018, guys.
